NHS referrals will be made by the doctors for appropriate NHS Services. You may also be referred to other organisations where social or learning activities may be beneficial to your health condition. This is known as Social Prescribing.
If you request a private referral the GP may write a referral letter but as this is not an NHS referral there may be a fee for this service.
